• During Day 1, MVJ President Russell Midori will interview John Patrick Pullen, the founding editor of Long Lead. The story studio he founded focuses on finding, funding and producing original, in-depth journalism, and the discussion will focus on the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.
• We’ll then discuss how to apply design thinking to your ideas for a news venture, and provide you with a method for prototyping your concept.
• On Day 2, some of us will share our prototypes and receive feedback from others in the Founders Fellowship Program. Some of our most innovative members will be present for this workshop, so come ready to bring your ideas and ask questions of others.
