Join us for the MVJ Cocktail Hour on Zoom! These once-monthly meetings are the perfect opportunity for MVJ members to connect, chat and learn from an MVJ mentor. Each session is also a place for members of the MVJ community to interact and grow together.
For this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Cassandra Vinograd, an award-winning reporter, editor, and producer with 20 years of experience working for the world’s leading news organizations as she shares her experience in her career and the mentorship she’s received and offered along the way.

About the Speaker
Cassandra Vinograd

Cassandra Vinograd is an award-winning reporter, editor and producer with 20 years of experience working for the world’s leading news organizations.
Her reporting has taken her throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East — with a stint in Afghanistan, too.
She joined The New York Times’ international desk as a senior editor after spending about two years focused on the war in Ukraine for NYT’s Live team. Before that, she worked for “60 Minutes” on CBS; spent three years freelancing for print and TV outlets with a focus on conflict and human rights; and served as deputy London editorial manager and a senior writer for NBC News Digital — with particular focus on terrorism and foreign policy. She also was a correspondent for The Associated Press specializing in politics, foreign affairs and defense… And is proud to be a supporter of MVJ.
