Military Veterans in Journalism recently launched our new and improved MyMVJ platform! MyMVJ is our new communication hub to learn about opportunities, interact with editors and newsroom leaders, and get exclusive access to MVJ member-only resources.

Benefits of this social network for members:

  • Network with other members via private messaging and discussions
  • Access MVJ member-exclusive content and opportunities
  • Join (or start) groups and forums for members 
  • Manage profile, MVJ membership and payment method 

Current MVJ members can join MyMVJ by taking the following steps:

  1. Navigate to my.mvj.network. In the upper right corner, press “Sign In”.
  2. If you haven’t logged in to the new site before, press “Forgot Password”.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your MVJ account – it should be the same one where you receive our monthly membership newsletters.
  4. Press “Request Reset Link” and keep an eye on your inbox. You should receive an email from MyMVJ with a link to reset your password.
  5. Once you’ve followed the link and input a new password, you should be able to log in. Welcome to the new MyMVJ!

How do I reset my password?

Click on “Forgot Password”, then enter your email. You should get an email from MyMVJ shortly with a secure password reset link.

Note: If you do not receive the email in your inbox within 15 minutes, please check your spam/junk folders!

It says my email isn't linked to a user account. How do I find out which email I used to sign up?

Please reach out to the MVJ Membership Coordinator via email for help. Include the subject line “MyMVJ Login Email Question” and your full name in the email body.

I received an email to update my membership billing information. How do I do that?

First off, thank you for being a member of MVJ and our community! We appreciate your support.
To update your billing information, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to MyMVJ. If you can’t remember your password, use the “Forgot Password” link as instructed above.
  2. On the Home page or the News Feed, click the icon next to your name in the top right corner.
  3. Click “Membership” in the menu that drops down. The option should be near the bottom of the menu.
  4. Click “Subscriptions” (next to Info) on the page that appears.
  5. You’ll see your current subscription here. In the far right column, click “Update”.
  6. Enter your updated billing information on the next page, press “Submit”, and you’re all set!

I received an email to update my billing information, but the deadline has passed and I can't log in. What do I do?

Thank you for being part of the MVJ community! We understand that life happens, so we can definitely help with this.
If you’re unable to log in due to a billing information issue, please reach out to the Partnership Director via email. Include the subject line “MyMVJ Billing Update Issue” and the email linked to your account in the body. We will provide you with a different way to update your billing information.

I want to cancel or stop the auto-renewal on my MVJ membership. How do I do that?

We’re grateful for your support during your time as a member of MVJ. We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand.
To cancel your membership/stop automatic renewals, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to MyMVJ. If you can’t remember your password, use the “Forgot Password” link as instructed above.
  2. On the Home page or the News Feed, click the icon next to your name in the top right corner.
  3. Click “Membership” in the menu that drops down. The option should be near the bottom of the menu.
  4. Click “Subscriptions” (next to Info) on the page that appears.
  5. You’ll see your current subscription here. In the far right column, click “Cancel”.
  6. You will be asked if you’re sure. If you’d like to proceed with cancellation, you can select “Yes”.
